As the biggest country in Oceania,
Australia is home to some of the world's most prominent
Masters of Business Administration (MBA) programs.
Rankings of the world's best MBA programs shall be fixed
each year by publications such as "Financial Times" and
the "Times Higher Education (topmba.com). The University
of Texas at Dallas (UTD) also produced its own list of
the world's best MBA programs based on the research,
production of business faculty members. Many of the same
Australian MBA programs appears on each of these lists.
Melbourne business School
Melbourne business School was ranked with the "Times
Higher Education" as the highest rated business program
in Australia in 2009. the list consisted of all MBA
programs in Asia-Pacific region of the world. Melbourne
business School second only INSEAD, a French business
school with an extension campus in Singapore. "Financial
Times" ranked Melbourne's program no. 63 in the world in
2010, making it the second highest-ranked Australian
institution on its list. Research output, UTD
established that Melbourne Business School ranked 91. in
the world. the school ranked No. 17 on the list compiled
by "The Economist" in 2009. the school offers a general
MBA degrees along with Master of management degrees. The
MBA offered full or part-time, and through an Executive
track. Students can also pursue joint-degree programs,
obtain MBA and other degrees, like a legal degree, at
the same time.

Macquarie University
Macquarie University Graduate School of management (MGSM)
is another one of Australia's world renowned business
schools. MGSM ranked No. 55 on the list compiled by "The
Economist" in 2009, making it the second-highest ranked
school in the nation on their list. The school was
ranked No. 7 overall, with the "Times Higher Education"
to the Asia-Pacific region and nr. 99 of the "Financial
Times". MBA program emphasizes accounting, marketing
management and organizational behavior as the core of
its curriculum. Additional management and PhD degrees
are available as well.

University of New South Wales
University of New South Wales (UNSW) is home to the
Australian Graduate School of management (formerly the
Australian School of Business). MBA program at UNSW
ranked fourth in the Asia-Pacific region, making it the
second-highest ranked program in Australia at the "Times
Higher Education" list. The program ranked No. 36 in the
world on the "Financial Times" list and no. 79 on the
list prepared by the UTD. The school offers full-time
and executive MBA programs, as well as interdisciplinary
degree track incorporates the law school in connection
with business studies.

Monash University
Monash University was ranked No. 59 of "The Economist"
in 2009 and nr. 9 in Asia-Pacific region with the "Times
Higher Education". The school did not make either list
drawn up by the "Financial Times" or with UTD. The
school offers both a full and part time MBA program
along with an accelerated program can be completed in 12
months. The program's key priorities include business
ethics, strategy and negotiation and leadership
development.
